I wanted to take the opportunity to let you all know that my son Axel Christopher is finally home with us!
This year has been quite the journey for my wife, my son and I as many things happened that drove us to the edge of giving up, but thank goodness everything is now calm and we are enjoying our family to the fullest!
As you all might know (last journal update), due to the high medication my wife went through, I nearly died and so my son, but luck and divine protection was on our side to help both of my most precious beings go out of ER alive.
My son had some struggles to go through after being born, and had to be hospitalized for the first three weeks of his life, which turned out to be quite depressing for my wife and I. Thank God, last Thursday he was given the OK to leave the hospital and be with us, but before I could go to the hospital I had a bike accident.
The night before, I decided to go pick my laundry at my wife's old house and I used my father's motorcycle for it, but little did I know was that the breaks would not work and I crashed.
One piece of iron made a deep cut around my eye and very close to the veins in my neck and I hit hard my right shoulder enough so I couldn't move it for days. Thankfully, even after the crash I still remained conscious and I was taken to the hospital where I got 31 stiches, only in my face.
So, I went for my kid with my head with a bunch of bandages and some dry blood on my neck (they wouldn't let me touch the wound nor clean it) and well, we are finally together!
By now the wound is practically healed, stitches taken out and I have the mark on my face as a reminder of my last adventure driving a bike.
For those of you that wanted to see my son, here's a picture of him:
